Happy Canada Day Vancouver!
Here are a few things to do this long holiday weekend:
Canada Place always has something going on, especially on Canada. This year the main stage headliner performance will be by JoJo Mason. Enjoy great food at one of the many food trucks available for the day. This is one of the largest Happy Birthday Canada celebrations in the province. Lots of people will be there in the red and white colours; so be sure to check it out!
Everybody love watching the fireworks. Vancouver puts on the best 2 barge simultaneous pyrotechnic extravaganza. In full visible view from Canada Place, North Shore and Stanley Park on Sunday, July 1, 10:30-10:50 p.m. Don’t miss it!
Canada Day Parade in North Vancouver:
Come and join Orca Realty at the North Vancouver Canada Day Parade on Sunday, July 1st in the morning at 10am and stay for the fun-filled festival in the afternoon which includes a BBQ. Bring the whole family!
Click North Van July 1st Celebrations for full details about the afternoon festivities in 2018.
North Van Canada Day Parade
The parade route goes along 13th Street from Grand Boulevard before heading down 17th Street via Lonsdale Avenue to Mahon Park. The best place to view the procession is by 14th and Lonsdale, although this is also the most crowded.
